Interims
Focus on Process Improvement
In the public and private sectors individuals that can transfer lean manufacturing processes including six sigma into the service sector are in demand. The manufacturing sector has for many years refined continuous improvement and is somewhat ahead of the services sector. At Cream we have a bank of continuous improvement interim's with six-sigma, LEAN and process re-engineering expertise.
Far more than simply taking out cost, LEAN and process re-engineering leads to an increase in process accuracy and service improvement particularly in areas such as billing, and of course significant direct and indirect cost savings.
As organisations change through acquisition or restructuring, processes can become increasingly cumbersome, it often takes an external view to see the wood for the trees and initiate change.
Over the years we have developed a bank of continuous improvement specialists, people we know personally who have proved their worth time and again on successful assignments. Here are a few of our team.
DB - Directed a six sigma continuous improvement programme. £12m of process, cost reduction and service improvement benefits in 2008, and delivered 93% process accuracy in a service environment. Led a full strategic review of the continuous improvement programme and expanded the capability to include a LEAN and process re-engineering methodology. Established a 5 year improvement road map with clear process and service improvement targets. Targeted overhead reduction of £2m
VP - Directed and coached the Sales & Service six-sigma black belt teams. Delivered business improvement projects worth £7.2M p.a. and enhanced the team's project delivery focus
AS - Customer Claims & Complaints resolution process: 7-months six sigma project that generated a 5% reduction in claim value (£100 thousand) and a 12% reduction in free supply of material. Setup a process and a bespoke IT application to identify and report on serial claims and complaints. Project running through entire DMAIC cycle and with a heavy amount of workshops/interviews with multiple internal and external stakeholders across 5 continents
